Job Summary

We are hiring a creative and detail-oriented Web Content Specialist to join our team full-time. This role is focused on creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content that drives traffic, engages readers, and converts visitors into customers. You will be the voice for our clients, crafting compelling blog posts, service pages, and website copy that aligns with their brand and our SEO strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread high-quality blog posts, articles, service pages, and location-specific landing pages for a diverse range of clients.
• SEO Optimization: Seamlessly integrate target keywords, LSI keywords, and search-intent-driven language into all content.
• Content Strategy: Collaborate with the SEO Manager to develop content calendars and brainstorm new topic ideas based on keyword research and competitive analysis.
• Content Refreshing: Audit and update existing client content to improve search rankings and user engagement.
• Metadata: Craft compelling and concise title tags and meta descriptions that improve click-through rates.
• Brand Voice: Quickly learn and adapt to various client brand tones and styles, from professional services to local trade businesses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in content writing, copywriting, or journalism, with a portfolio of published online work.
• Demonstrable understanding of SEO and how to write for search engines and humans.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
• Familiarity with keyword research tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• A passion for storytelling and helping small businesses succeed.
